Skateboarding is a sport that almost anyone can do, it just takes a lot of practice. I have been skateboarding seance I was just a little boy. I was never able to do any real tricks, but recently I have been practicing and now can do a lot of tricks. All you need to be good is some money for a decent board and a lot of time.
Skateboarding is a stress relieving sport for many people. Skateboarding started on the streets and soon after it started all the new malls and anything you could grind on would be torn up within a week. As a result of this, if police as so much saw someone riding down the street they would confiscate their board and write a ticket. I found this information about cops cracking down on skaters because my school library has a book called Skateboard for Life.
Skaters began to rebel and skate anyway, so the government decided to build a skate park rather than having to keep fixing the streets. Skate parks are meant to imitate the streets with hand rails and steps. Bowls and drops were Incorporated in skate parks to imitate empty swimming pools were most drop in tricks began.
A skater at my school named Mason Holweg said that skating is a source of stress reliving fun. He says it is not hard to skate, you just need to put you mind to it. So if you think that skating looks cool and you want to try them remember this, you need a lot of time and a little money.
I used to skateboard when I was younger and broke my collarbone going down a hill once. It is a great sport and fun to watch too.
